The Pilgrim's Assistance Office is an instrument created on the occasion of the first Jubilee Year in the history of El Rocío, in 2012-2013. This office provides service to many pilgrims, groups, institutions and non-Rociero brotherhoods, who want to participate in the religious or cultural experience of El Rocío, and is a support tool for all those who seek a religious experience in El Rocío, in individual and especially collective trips.
Plenary Indulgence
Conditions
The conditions for gaining the plenary indulgence at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Sra. del Rocío are the following:
On August 5, the feast day of the Liberian Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore.
On the titular feast of the Sanctuary (Solemnity of Pentecost).
On all solemnities of the Virgin Mary.
Once a year, on the day freely chosen by each member of the faithful.
As many times as they come in devout collective pilgrimage.
The plenary indulgence is granted to the faithful who, truly repentant, devoutly attend this sanctuary and participate in some Sacred Function, or at least, recite the Sunday prayer or the symbol of Faith, under the usual conditions, which are the following:
Sacramental Confession
Eucharistic Communion
Prayer for the intentions of the Supreme Pontiff
At the Pilgrim’s Assistance Office of the National Shrine of El Rocío you can get the Certificate of Plenary Indulgence for a donation of 2 €.
