The younger ones may be surprised to read these stories of the village of El Rocío, which, although they took place before yesterday, differ absolutely from the reality that we contemplate today. The author, who lived there during his childhood and youth, tells us about a different world full of memories and nostalgia, which he meticulously describes in order to reconstruct the scenario of a time when man and environment were part of the same universe. That magical universe that little by little was crumbling without remedy.
